Pura Besakih Temple - the mother of all temples

09:00 - start the day with a visit to the Pura Besakih temple - the main Hindu temple complex of the island. It consists of 22 individual temples that rise along the foot of Mount Agung in terraces. Here you can see the spiritual life of the Island of the Gods in all its manifestations: colorful ceremonies, offerings to the gods, meditations and locals in national clothes.

After visiting Pura Besakih, you will go to the Kerta Gosa Museum, where you can plunge into the indescribable atmosphere of ancient Balinese traditions, look at paintings and many other exhibits. The main building of the museum is the former palace of justice, where real court sessions were held many decades ago. The ceiling of the building is decorated with frescoes depicting Hindu epics.
At the end of the tour you will go to artisan villages. Crafts and creativity play a huge role in the lives of the Balinese people.
Your program will include as many as 3 villages that specialize in wood, gold and silver, as well as batik - a traditional technique of painting on fabric using wax. Here you can take a closer look at the process of creating different things and buy yourself unique handmade souvenirs.
